   OCIA China branch ran a national two-day training class in Shanghai On April 8th and 9th, 2007. About 80 representatives of the member units of OCIA from all over the country attended this training. Our company sent people to attend the training.

   During the two-day training, students learnt the following standards earnestly: OCIA standards, NOP standards of the USA, EU2092/91 standards of the EU and JAS standards of Japan which were newly revised, issued and put into effect. The headquarters of OCIA took this training seriously and assigned three experienced experts of OCIA inspection and training department to China to give lessons. During the two-day study and the communication with each other after class, the students achieved a better comprehension on OCIA standards, NOP standards of the USA, JAS standards of Japan and EU2092/91 standards of the EU, which had an important meaning of ensuring the qualities of the organic products and making the work of examining and authenticating the organic products well done. Students thought that the contents they learnt from this training class would have an active guiding meaning of making the related work of organic production, processing and trading well done. For OCIA China branch ran such national training class at a fixed time and circulated a notice of new trends and changes of the overseas organic authentication in time, the students were all for it and satisfied with it.

   At the end of the training, the students who attended the training class and passed the examination obtained the OCIA and JAS training certificate issued by OCIA China branch respectively.
